Location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Capitol. Valet parking is $50 a night, which is steep. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially George. The room was clean but showed signs of wear.

Enjoyed the bustling city vibe with festivals and museums nearby. The pool, breakfast, and staff were great. Flew in easily via the airport, loved the free WiFi.
Loved doing my exercises on the sticky, grotty carpet while dodging broken glass.

The ironing facilities were handy, and the heating kept us warm on cold nights. the air conditioning was a bit wonky, with buttons that didn't work properly, leaving us freezing on the first night. Unfortunately, the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a disappointment. The bathtub was also outdated, and the complimentary toiletries provided were of low quality. the am/fm alarm clock was a bit tricky to set up, and the flat-screen TV had limited channels. The carpeted floor in our room seemed overdue for a deep clean, adding to the overall shabby feel of the hotel. The valet parking was quite expensive, and the process felt disorganized, especially when the key cards didn't work, leading to multiple room changes. Despite these issues, the location was convenient for exploring downtown Austin. the hotel's overall maintenance and cleanliness left much to be desired. Hopefully, La Quinta will address these issues in the future to improve the guest experience.

Had a clean and comfortable room during my Xmas stay. The hotel's location was ideal for events at the Moody Center, a convenient 20-minute walk away. The garage provided ample space and good weather protection.
The overall upkeep of the hotel was lacking, with cleanliness issues noted throughout. The breakfast buffet was subpar with limited seating.

The location was spot on, just a stone's throw away from 6th street and right across from the Capitol, making it super convenient to explore. I loved that they welcomed my service pet with open arms. The room was clean and cozy, offering a comfortable stay. Also, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable.
The overall upkeep of the hotel left much to be desired. From the shoddy appearance to the unclean microwave and dated rooms, the hotel could benefit from some serious maintenance.

the staff were very polite and helpful. the hotel is in a quiet area and easy to get to. the room was clean and comfortable, and the air con worked well. It's located within walking distance of 6th street downtown. we had a good experience and found it convenient for our visit.

The location and rate were the entire reason I booked here. I was able to walk to my training quickly and enjoy access to the Alamo Draft House for nightlife entertainment and food. The breakfast here was also good and nice to have. The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. The free wifi worked great!
The noise at night was extremely disruptive and made it difficult to sleep. I would recommend asking for a room further away from the entrance and valet area.

The bed was enormous and comfy. The breakfast had everything, plus facilities to make toast or waffles. Ideal location for exploring with lots to do within walking distance.
Felt very homey, no reason to complain.

I chose La Quinta for its convenient location near the Texas State Capitol and Sixth Street, making it easy to explore the area. The complimentary wireless internet and helpful concierge services were unexpected bonuses. Starting the day with a Free Bright Side Breakfast served by friendly staff was a delightful way to begin each morning.
Poor customer service experience.

the beds were comfy - staff was friendly, and the location was perfect - right next to the capital. the cleaning staff was super nice, and they left extra coffee for us without any fuss.

We were disappointed by the lack of complimentary breakfast, which was not communicated to us beforehand. However, the room was comfortable and the location was great despite the minor inconveniences. I'd still recommend this hotel.
